Designer Marisa Fick-Jordaan embraces the inventive possibility and the skilful artistry of the human hand to breathe life into ideas. Fusing traditions, techniques and technologies she created Zenzulu™, now renowned for its original and highly prized contemporary telephone-wire design and art pieces such as vessels, lace platter, and the new Jungle Nature series of sculptural platters, vessels and lighting. Fick-Jordaan’s designs have been showcased around the world and have received many accolades, including an Elle Decoration Design Award in 2002. Jungle Nature pieces were recently selected for cutting-edge exhibitions at the new Holon Design Museum and the Museum of Art and Design in New York.
