Tjerrie is an ‘everything you love, everything you don’t want to share’ range of fashion accessories. The brand produces all its designs in Cape Town and uses natural and recycled, locally sourced fibres wherever possible. Hessian bags, mohair and wool yarn, locally woven upholstery fabrics, sheep nappa and vegetable tanned leathers are also used in various designs. Tjerrie’s product range includes shoes (ballerina pumps, jazz takkies and boots), socks (anklets and knee-highs), leggings, belts and stockings. With robust leather against soft mohair, old school style with city flare, Tjerrie is about knowing where you’ve come from and where you’re going. By integrating existing skills of the community with traditional skills, Tjerrie helps to sustain livelihoods and create employment.

Production Capacity:
Approximately 350 pairs of shoes, 350 belts, 1200 socks/legwarmers without trim and 800 socks/legwarmers with trim in an eight-week period.
