StandardEstablished in 2007, Muizenberg-based Skermunkil Design Studio is a small, husband-and-wife partnership. Working mainly with enamels, silver, brass, found objects and porcelain, their main focus is geometrics and lines. The new range for 2014 will be looking at the theme of house and home, architecture and dreams, incorporating a simple geometric aesthetic while trying to integrate some unique porcelain pieces. Skermunkil's work can be found at a number of retail outlets including Take Care, Mungo and Jemima, The Kalkbay Co-op, Wolves Cafe, The Space in Rosebank and Superella.
