Give it Bag is a non-government organisation locally designing and manufacturing a wide range of stylish handbags, laundry bags and wine coolers made out of recycled polypropylene bags and cotton. Their vision is to distribute the bags across the globe, generating funds to sustain jobs locally and fuel charity projects and actions. Via a unique five-digit number allocated to each bag, Give it Bag owners are encouraged to share stories of their charitable acts on Give it Bag’s website thus building an inspiring community of do-gooders. The Give it Bag project aims to engage the world through fashion and increasing public awareness on issues of sustainability, the beauty of handmade products and community support.
