StandardThe Flying Dutchman - Visual Designer offers a wide spectrum of visual design possibilities. Ranging from packaging design, motion graphics and illustration to conceptual design and product creation, designer Eduard Claassen draws inspiration from thoughts driving the local design movement. From minimalism to Baroque to conceptual works, the designs of the local corner artists and Syd Mead, The Flying Dutchman constantly re-evaluates his embedded environment and history. Claassen pushes visual boundaries by adding a twist to known products by giving it a facelift. A range of design disciplines are comfortably incorporated in the work of The Flying Dutchman. He will be launching his Flower Power lamps at Design Indaba.
