Eternally Solar is the originator of the EarthBagBuild Construction System, which uses the patented EarthBag and locally sourced earth (but no steel or timber) to create structures. These are inexpensive, structurally sound and versatile, low in embedded energy, thermally and acoustically efficient, rot- and corrosion- proof, fire resistant, non-toxic and bullet-proof. They also have a low material versus labour cost-ratio. In addition, they are environmentally, socially and economically sustainable, favouring communities not corporations, creating employment, transferring skills, and encouraging microbusiness development. All raw and finished materials are sourced in South Africa. Eternally Solar is also the creator and promoter of the SA EnviroChallenge, an initiative aimed at achieving major reductions nationally in water and power consumption, carbon emissions and utility costs.

Production Capacity:
EarthBags can be produced in any quantity with sufficient lead time - two weeks for a single dwelling project to three months for a major development. Eternally Solar provides the patented EarthBag and relevant consulting/advice on the system.
