StandardBlackbird jewellery is designed and hand-crafted by Chloe Essery, using sterling silver, enamelling and resins. Essery manufactures necklaces, earrings, rings and pendants. Techniques of imprinting, engraving, etching, and silver applique are used to give a 3D effect of sculpting in miniature.
Inspiration is drawn from antique coins, fabric and wallpapers incorporating flowers, birds and animals from around the globe. Hearts are a recurring motif in the current range. Most of the pendants are reversible, with designs appearing on both back and front.
