With the theme “What will creativity hold for the future?” Design Indaba 2011 looks to unearth creative ideas that will change tomorrow.
It brings together two things that are very close to our hearts at Woolworths: Design and sustainability. In fact, if you visit the Woolworths lounge at the Design Indaba Conference or our stand at the Design Indaba Expo, you’ll be able to see some of the things we’re doing to make a difference to our world right now.
While you’re at the Conference, there’s something you can do too: Join the Woolworths Trust in innovating for future sustainability by planting a virtual seedling on our virtual "Living Wall". We’ll transform your virtual contribution into a real seedling that will be donated to a South African school with a permaculture food garden as part of our EduPlant programme. It’s fun, free and you’ll be making a difference to a school that’s working towards self-reliance and sustainability by using natural system farming techniques to produce good food.
