Showcasing the beauty of his native South Africa through his photographic work, Cape Town-based photographer Dylan Culhane presents Transcendental Wayfaring at the EB & Flow Gallery in London.

Culhane’s first solo exhibition in London, Transcendental Wayfaring comprises a selection of images produced using his singular technique. The celluloid negative is his canvas, while the layering of light and emulsion in shapes and splatters are stripped away to complement the light and shadows captured on the film.

More than mere digital manipulation, Culhae experiments with the various mechanics and techniques of traditional photography. Transcendental Wayfaring is on show until 26 August 2011.
