Steel accessories

Nendo's latest collection of interior accessories uses steel to create a uniformed flow throughout a home.

Nendo’s elegant collection of interior accessories is designed to create a synergy between various spaces in a home.

Japanese design studio Nendo has designed an interior collection of accessories for lifestyle brand Discipline. The “Clip” collection, taking its name from the concept of clipping steel sheets together, comprises a side table, a coat hanger and a candleholder.

The best part of "Clip" is that is can be used and displayed as a whole collection bringing an elegant steel theme throughout a home or it can simply be used as single pieces for standout statements.

The side table is available in two versions and is made by fastening two frames onto a pane of glass.

The coat hanger uses three frames, which are fastened together for strength and versatility in order to support different garment sizes and weights.

The candleholder takes inspiration from a fruit bowl and is made by using four frames to resemble a finger-like grasp stabilising each candle. A wooden bowl is placed under each candleholder to allude to the idea of a fruit bowl and further prevent wax dripping on counters and surfaces around the home.

“Clip” was exhibited at Maison & Objet 2013.
