The SoBi Social Bicycle system is an idea for the world’s first bicycle sharing system, complete with authorisation, tracking and security systems attached to the bike. It makes use of GPS mobile communications so the system can be deployed anywhere and at a fraction of the cost of such existing bike share systems. The SoBi makes the system easier to manage while giving users a more interactive experience that can track the distance covered, calories burnt, CO2 emission offsets and connections to other SoBi users.
