The world premiere of The International Space Orchestra feature film, directed by Nelly Ben Hayoun, premieres tonight (25 January 2013) at the International Film Festival in Rotterdam.
Merging science, technology, design and opera, the film is a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the International Space Orchestra, previously featured here.
Hayoun explains that the project was inspired by a “desire to understand the universe and rocket-propel our souls to further galaxies”.
As such, the film allows the viewer to experience the surrealism of a production that brings together a variety of disciplines in creating a production that embraces music and science to enable a journey into space.
