In an attempt to merge the visible and invisible, United Visual Artists’s “Continuum” installation observes the complexity of order present in light and sound.
The design trio have created an installation to explore the boundaries between what is deemed visible and invisible in Mexico.
The installation, “Continuum”, is made using steel, timber and white LED bulbs. It came about after United Visual Artists wanted to research how interacting waves of sound and light travel at every minute of a day. The waves that are refracted by the environment and spaces we occupy are either visible or invisible, and “Continuum” seeks to explore and showcase this notion.
