Benjamin Hubert’s inaugural solo show of industrial design work can be seen at the Johanssen Gallery in Berlin until 30 August 2011.
Titled Materiality, the exhibition affords viewers a peak into the working mind of Hubert, as designer, and his material-driven processes.
Comprising finished products, production images, material samples, prototypes and drawings, Materiality is a look at Hubert’s output in his first three years of work.
Materials and their surroundings processes are a key design interest area for Hubert. The result is a strong tactile response to raw materials and the emerging connection between product, process and craftsman.
