Making a strong reference to 1920s fine dining glamour and sophistication, Marcel Wanders has designed a crystal vase that exudes elegance.
Renowned Dutch product and interior designer Wanders has extended his collaboration with fine crystal manufacturer Baccarat in designing a new addition to the Rois de la Forêt collection.
The crystal vase perfectly references Baccarat’s design heritage. Founded in the French region of Lorraine during the reign of King Louis XV, Baccarat has since become one of the world’s most famous crystal works producer and a renowned symbol of superb craftsmanship and French art de vivre.
Made from an intricate combination of luxury materials, the vase has a marble base topped with a crystal bowl. This rare combination will definitely add a sense of opulence to any room and will be a feature piece in any crystal collections. To create the vase to Baccarat’s high standards, the crystal is first blown and them wheel cut for extra detail.
The design bridges past and present, references historical shapes, styles and archetypes and recreates them anew, says Wanders.
The vase is available exclusively through baccarat.com.
