Inspired by symbols, motifs and visuals seen in sports, Nika Zupanc has designed a family of objects that give interpretations of 1950s furniture a modern appeal.
Slovenian product designer Nika Zupanc has designed a series of 15 objects for luxury brand Sé’s third furniture collection. Finessed by her signature style, which highlights and references 1950s furniture, the collection creates a connection between wit, restrained elegance and luxury.
At this year’s Milan Furniture Fair, Zupanc unveiled the first object of the series, “Full Moon Lamp”. The lamp is an extension of Zupanc’s interest in simple but smart product design.
The rest of the series will be unveiled during London Design Week later this year.
