Fashionable football fever

SA Fashion Week are adding glitz and glamour to the World Cup with their range of soccer-inspired clothes and accessories.

The designers, models, producers and hair and makeup glamour mechanics at South African Fashion Week United have come together for a fashionable show of support for the Bafana Bafana boys.

SA Fashion Week United showed off their stylish soccer-inspired outfits created by SAFW designers recently at an event at the Design District, the home of SA Fashion Week in Rosebank, Joburg.

The guest list included names like Khanyi Mbau, Jen Su, Bonang Matheba and Zizo Beda, which added that extra touch of sophistication. Clive Rundle dressed model Adhiambo Mula-Lauwers, which earned him the honour of best design, although some called his design "boring".

All items are available for sale, so fashionistas with the dilemma of wanting to support our boys but who thought the supporter’s gear was just too uncool, have no more excuses! Check out SA Fashion Week for more details and prices.
