Reflecting a modern and adventurous view on Dutch history, Marcel Wanders has designed the new Andaz Hotel in the heart of Amsterdam.

Wanders partnered with Aedes Real Estate to design and furnish a culturally rich and historical hotel. Situated on the Prinsengracht, Prince Canal, in the lively Jordaan district of Amsterdam, Andaz Hotel offers a unique experience that evokes a contemporary and momentous spirit and scene.

Wanders has designed the 122-room hotel, located on a former public library, into a modern space that reveals the designer's unique style.

Andaz Hotel opened its doors on 29 November 2012.
