Some 100 prototypes later, Glasgow-based designer Fraser Ross created the DIY Pen.
All you need to create your own pen is the single, postcard-sized sheet of flat-packed plywood components, which are design punched out of this sheet.
The great thing is that the assembly of this pen requires no extra tools or materials, except a hairdryer to set the heat shrink rubber around the plywood.
