Comfort zone

Jaime Hayón's "Ro" armchair means "tranquility" in Danish and resembles just that.

From the Series

Epitomising tranquillity, Jaime Hayón’s new wingback armchair is ideal for relaxing and catching a breather.

Spanish designer Jaime Hayón has designed a series of lavish wingback chairs for the Republic of Fritz Hansen.

“Ro”, meaning tranquillity in Danish, springs from the notion that time for relaxation in today’s hustle and bustle lifestyle is a luxury. The armchairs are made with great craftsmanship and in the highest sustainable quality.

Bringing calmness into any space, the armchairs combine a sculptural and elegant design that results in a functional and aestheticically pleasing furniture edition.

Ro is available in nine colours and two different textures.

It was unveiled at Milan Furniture Fair earlier this year.
