City skylines

Bjarke Ingels Group turns their attention from architecture to product design for a unique tableware collection.

Bjarke Ingels Group’s latest project sees a merging of a large-scale city skyline with the intimate scale of product deign.

Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) has collaborated with Kilo, a renowned industrial design studio, and Rosenthal, a high-quality porcelain manufacturer, to create a range of tableware. Each item in the 12-piece collection, TAC – including dinner plates, changer plates, bowls, saucers and more – features a distinct city skyline. The characteristics of each city’s silhouette is subtly expressed in the historic blue porcelain colour.

From the Eiffel Tower and the Brandenburg Gate to the Big Ben, the collection of tableware is sure to bring observation and conversation to the table.
