Geometry is made easy with Dror Benshetrit’s ingenious QuaDror structural joint system, which now also comes as colourful toy building blocks.

Benshetrit launched the QuaDror system at Design Indaba Conference 2011. The QuaDror is a simple truss that can adapt to various conditions and configurations. By assembling four identical L-shaped pieces, either thin trestle structures, or thick solid panels can be created.

Initially Benshetrit created the structures for a range of products, trestle structures, dwellings, dividing walls, sound barriers and more. Now the QuaDror is available in a set of toy building blocks, allowing users to experiment with architecture and design by creating colourful towers, houses and more.

While the concrete QuaDror structure first developed may seem slightly complex to some, the QuaDror Building Blocks makes geometry and architecture easier to understand and play with.
