It’s been a difficult time for the architecture industry so Architecture for Humanity launched an initiative that serves as an advocacy campaign to garner support, while also working to boost the morale in this creative discipline.
The organisation called on their professional architecture and design friends from around the world to share why they love architecture. The response came in the form of original hand sketches and other works from 60 of the world’s leading and most respected professionals.
Contributors include Frank Gehry, DJ Spooky, Michael Graves, Bjarke Ingels and David Adjaye, to name just a few, all of whom recognised the need to support the architecture industry, and particularly the work Architecture for Humanity does.
The more than 70 contributions are being auctioned, with a target of $150 000, which is hoped will be reached by Saturday 30 June 2012. Click here to join the bid!
