Let Us Grow, one of the Your Street CT Challenge winners, is an urban agriculture solution that proposes converting empty city lots into small-scale farms.

Let Us Grow is an urban development project that plans to convert unused land in the City of Cape Town into small-scale farms for cultivating fresh produce.

The initiative of Rene Bakker, Andrea Ferry, Andrew Cole and Pieter H Botha, Let Us Grow plans to sell the fresh produce to local restaurants. It is envisioned that these plots of land will be managed by people from disadvantaged backgrounds, who will be trained and given the opportunity to learn about urban farming.
