Design Indaba FilmFest
One rooftop, 15 creative films, R35 a ticket; an event not to be missed! Design Indaba FilmFest treats Cape Town audiences to a world-class feature and documentary film festival highlighting the power of creativity.
The Bank in Cape Town’s trendy new Fringe District is where it’s all happening, a venue that in itself promises to delight creative enthusiasts.
A new film will be screened every evening at 20:30, from Sunday 17 February to Sunday 3 March 2013. Doors open at 19:30 so be sure to arrive early, to get a drink and popcorn, and soak up both the view and the atmosphere before settling in to enjoy the film.

Design Indaba Music Circuit
The latest edition to the Design Indaba offering, the Music Circuit is unmatched in both its approach and execution, bringing an audio adventure like no other to Cape Town. Celebrating a variety of music genres, multiple venues across the Mother City will host more than 30 musicians over three nights during Design Indaba 2013. It’s about experiences, collaborations, having fun and giving fresh talent a platform to showcase their skills. The Design Indaba Music Circuit goes beyond the marquee venue. The differentiation lies in the curatorial integrity behind the lineup.

Design Indaba Expo
More than the foremost showcase of high-quality, 100% South African designs, the annual Design Indaba Expo is a smorgasbord of creativity, innovation and design, across multiple disciplines.
With some 350 exhibitors, including 110 newbies, strutting their creative stuff, Design Indaba Expo is your ultimate creative destination.
There’s also artisanal street food served by food trucks, all-day fashion shows, a short film festival, an exhibition of local design curated by renowned trend forecaster Li Edelkoort, music and more. This whole experience is yours for just R70!

DIY Workshops at Design Indaba Expo
Hands-on making and creative thinking is where it’s at with the DIY (Design Indaba Youth) Workshops at Design Indaba Expo.
Presented by DSTV, the DIY programme introduces young people to the enjoyment and possibility of design as a career.
There’s something for everyone, from making a stop-motion movie to wind sculptures and animal masks.
Three of the 11 workshops are free of charge and the rest are R150 – with the guarantee that you’ll learn something new and interesting about design, and walk away with a cool new creation!
