1... 2... 3... Cuckoo Clock

Cuckoo clocks are all but fully revived yet. Italian designer Raffaele Darra brings them back with stripes.

From the Series

For most people Cuckoo clocks remain something fascinating, long after their childhood has passed. And with a host of new and fresh designs, the Cuckoo clock is fast becoming a modern home must-have.

The latest must-have Cuckoo clock is the Arcoiris Cuckoo clock. Produced in Italy by designer Raffaele Darra this Cuckoo is made of resin, with hand-finished coloured stripes in a white lacquer finish with a metal frame. Arcoiris means “rainbow” in Portuguese so a very apt name for this fun clock.

With the little Cuckoo bird that pops out every hour, this clock will add a cheeky charm to any room in the house. But cleverly, there’s the option of leaving the Cuckoo in its cage if you don’t want to be disturbed.

The clock is produced by Diamantini & Domeniconi, has a quartz movement and works with batteries.
