Design Indaba Expo 2010

The annual Design Indaba Expo is a platform for the rich diversity of South African design and creativity. This fiercely local event is the quintessential showcase of high quality South African design from food to fashion, jewellery design, industrial design, animation and architecture. Every year sees a more sophisticated interpretation of what South African design is.

Showing more than 280 exhibitors, including 80 first-time exhibitors and 40 Emerging Creatives, the core Design Indaba Expo show drew well over 35 000 visitors, including 379 journalists and 427 buyers – one third of which were international.
