Design Indaba Conference 2009

The Design Indaba Conference 2009, like its predecessors, was a meeting, networking, and inspiring, of our time's greatest creative minds.

The 2009 Design Indaba Conference received an overwhelmingly positive response, being sold out for the fifth year running and attracting more than 2 100 delegates. Confirming its passion for ideas and creative change, the vibrant three-day conference hosted 30 international speakers across a variety of fields – from Ferran Adrià, the world's best chef, to design activist Bruce Mau, nonsense-machine artist Nobumichi Tosa and product designer Marcel Wanders. For the first time, top graduates from design institutions across the world also shared their work in a Pecha Kucha programme.
