Designindaba.com readers voted with their clicks for the best stories and videos this July.

Top of July's list is this short film in which veteran typographer Erik Spiekerman talks about rekindling his love of letterpress.

Fashion stories from Africa also proved popular this month. Featured in our top ten are this Lookbook of iconoclast fashion designer Marianne Fassler’s new Resort Collection and our profile on Studio One Eighty Nine – a creative collaboration founded by actress Rosaria Dawson and luxury fashion expert Abrima Erwiah that produces ethical clothing in Ghana.

Video interviews had readers riveted: Mexican adman Michel Rojkind’s approach to design briefs and 9/11 memorial exhibit designer Jake Barton’s insights on storytelling in physical spaces were both popular.

Two upcoming talents also grabbed attention: popular interviews included Dave Hakkens, designer of "the last phone you’ll ever need", and Teshia Truehaft, whose reinvention of the chair is approaches art.
