Mushrooms on the run

Presenting an alternative supply chain concept, Agata Jaworska’s In Transit proposes growing mushrooms in the packaging while they are being transported. Instead of consumers buying a punnet of mushrooms with a “best before” date, the package will show a “ready by” date. Cutting out the transport between farm, packager, distributor and market, In Transit also promises higher quality fresh goods.
