Marking 20 years in publication for the experimental (and revolutionary) graphics magazine FUSE, Taschen publishers has produced a boxed edition comprising issues 1-18, titled FUSE 1-20.
FUSE is the ground-breaking publication started in 1991 by Neville Brody and Jon Wozencroft, which took design and typography into radically new and unforseen spaces.
The special boxed edition also included never-before published issues 19 an 20, each displaying a unique and different theme, making FUSE 1-20 a covetable collector's item.
Contributors to this extraordinary publication include the who's who of typographic design with names such as Erik Spiekermann, Stefan Sagmeister, Peter Saville, Jonathan Barnbrook and Tobias Frere-Jones, just to name a few.
FUSE was and is a platform for a revolutionary and experimental approach to typographic language. In this it became a laboratory for new ideas and risks, as well as a hothouse for new thinking. By using the alphabet as its base and being enabled by the advent of digital design, it has been a major success over its 20 years in publication.
