As obsessive collectors designers Tim Beard, Mason Wells and Jonathon Jeffrey thought it appropriate to name their London-based design consultancy Bibliothèque, the French word for library.
The trio are all about keeping a low profile, preferring that their creative work speaks for itself. And it does – very loudly. From designing retrospectives for the likes of design greats like Dieter Rams and Le Corbusier, to creating posters for new Vitra furniture and packaging for the in-flight meal on Virgin, Bibliothèque’s portfolio is a wealth of striking graphic innovation.
Bibliothèque believes in being design sponges, and in their speaker presentation talk about how designers need to constantly make the effort to explore and enrich oneself because “ you can’t design in a vacuum”.
Here’s a special gallery of some their more prolific work.
