Gavin Weale, winner of the UK Young Publishing Entrepreneur Award, is showing disadvantaged youths that creativity can change the world through Live Futures Ltd. This not-for-profit company uses magazines and media to empower and improve the lives of young people in London.

Live Magazine gives another chance to youths who were unable to engage with the education system. The youths have complete editorial and creative freedom, with mentors really only providing them wiith a framework for the magazine. This social publishing enterprise is driven through mentorships by  professional journalists, photographers and designers who volunteer their time and skills to the cause.
