Online portfolio platform Format has launched a new documentary series called InFrame in collaboration with award-winning filmmaker Bas Berkhout. Berkhout is the cofounder and director of Like Knows Like, a documentary series which creates short documentaries about creatives around the world such as typographer Jessica Hische.
Inframe follows the unique journeys of the talented creative individuals that make up the Format community.
The inaugural episode features Jessica Lehrman, a Brooklyn-based photographer best known for her raw visual documentation of contemporary underground movements.
From protests and social revolutions to the belly of hip hop’s underground community, Lehrman has captured some of the biggest names in music and covered major social and environmental issues.
Lehrman, who hosts her portfolio on Format, has toured with producer and rapper Jermaine Dupri visited fracking sites with Yoko Ono, spent a day in the life of Kendrick Lamar and The Flaming Lips, and had work published in Rolling Stone, The New York Times, Vanity Fair, Billboard, VICE and more.
