"Inside Ya Body" looks inside the body for inspiration

Jack Sachs' solo installation takes a quirky, animated look at the inside of the human body.

Jack Sachs’ “Inside Ya Body” collection was featured at the 2016 Pick Me Up in London. This year, Sachs went with an anatomical exploration for the inspiration for his work.

According to Creative Review, Sachs injured his “drawing hand” and so spent some time considering 2D animation software. The results are a series of images inspired by the human body and its mechanisms, using 3D animation, 3D and 2D illustration and ceramics.

The annual Pick Me Up Graphic Arts festival invites only a handful of artists to exhibit a solo installation of their work.
