Ruudt Peters talks about the things that inspire his jewellery designs. Passion, love, religion, sex, utility, eroticism and power are some of the inspirations.
Jewellery is not worth it if it does not have meaning and power, says Peters.
Peters also talks about designing jewellery “with balls”, the micro-cosmos and drawing on both natural and metaphysical reference to incorporate in jewellery design.
Enchantment no longer seems to be present in our lives much, but it’s so important, he says.
