Animation is about bringing dreams, ideas, creations and inventions to life. Craig Wessels talks about animation in South Africa, what it is has done and the possibilities it has. 

The South African animator believes that his objective is to have the visuals connect with people to inspire them; not only is it about the look and feel but it’s also about storytelling. He emphasises the importance of the story element in any animation project and explains that animation does not need to be complex to be effective.
