“Three-in-one” is a good way to describe Pia Wüstenberg’s “Stacking Vessel” series of functional domestic sculptures.
Three distinct parts are combined to create a single object that can be used as a object for storage, but is beautiful enough to serve as a décor item.
Each piece in the collection is handmade with craft skills, such as pottery throwing, glass blowing and turning.
In her most recent series, “Stacking Vessel Soldiers”, Wüstenberg incorporated a wooden bowl and ceramic cup to create an object with an hourglass-like form.
