A playground built to scale for children

Studio Ossidiana realized Horismos in tinted concrete with different finishes, adding a tactile element to this labyrinth-like structure.

Designed for the playground of an elementary school in Vleuten, Holland, Horismos plays with scale to create an adventurous landscape at child height.

It does not dictate play, but rather invites imaginative interpretations of how to interact with its amorphous, gently sinuous shapes.
