Companions and Sidekicks are the quirky names of two new furniture collections that Ilse Crawford is launching at Tramshed 2011, as part of the London Design Festival.
The Companions family of furniture is specifically designed to support daily life. It includes a bed and a bedside table, available in white oiled chestnut with cork bowls as storage for private bits. It’s also available in natural oiled chestnut or painted in pure white or a black brown. A slim writing design is ideal for fitting into those tight spaces and comes with a cork bowl for wires and plugs. The desk also has a top that can be closed to hide away laptops and documents.
Sidekicks is a range of small occasional tables that can be used anywhere in the table for a number of purposes. Their height and dimension make them ideal to place next to sofas and chairs. Sidekicks is available is polished aluminium, copper or brass. The height of some od the Sidekicks tables are also adjustable.
