Japanese designers Nendo will be making their art direction debut at the Milan Furniture Fair, running from 17 to 22 April 2012.
Nendo art directed Singapore furniture brand K%’s first collection called “Black & Black”.
Referring to the title, the decision to use black as the exclusive colour for all the items in the collection serves as a unifying feature.
Nendo explain that they focussed specifically on pairing new materials and techniques with the feature colour to achieve a perfect balance between structure and function.
The art directors added that structure and function are the most fundamental elements of any object.
