Australian winery Between Five Bells enjoy having something a little different on their wine labels.
As the most important communication tool for the wine, they wanted the label to reveal more than about the wine than the average wine label usually does.
Between Five Bells approached designer Nicholas Felton to turn data about the wine into an infograph. The result is a label that is both highly informative, with data about the vineyards, vintage conditions, ferments and finished wine, and visually appealing.
Felton’s label for the 2010 Red sees the wine’s composition and history visualised in a distinct infographic.
Going forward, each of Between Five Bells’s wine labels will feature Felton’s design template, though no two bottles will be made to look the same.
