Doshi Levien's Impossible Wood chair redefines the material possibilities of outdoor furniture.

Drawing on the aesthetic and conceptual research and innovation for which they have become known, Doshi Levien designed the Impossible Wood chair for Italian furniture manufacturer Moroso.

Impossible Wood was presented at the Milan Furniture Fair recently and reinvents the idea of the classic outdoor chair by using a synthetic fibre with versatile characteristics.

This synthetic fibre is an eco-compatible compound which is able to replace the usual plastics while maintaining its (injection-moulded) pliability and strength.

With its simple, yet sophisticated, silhouette and lithe structure, Impossible Wood is more than a little elegant.
