Everybody loves a freebie so the band Animal Collective’s new gimmick is bound to be a hit.
The group are releasing a new collection of songs and they’re throwing in a pair of “Tobin” sneakers designed by one of their members, Avey Tare. The previously unreleased music will be on a cassette tape and sell for US$75 (around R525).
While the dosh is a lot to ask, all proceeds from this creative initiative will be donated to the Socorro Island Conservation Fund.
