Following on the success of the Chin Family range of table accessories, Stefano Giovannoni’s OrienTales opens a new chapter in the collaboration between Alessi and the National Palace Museum of Taiwan. OrienTales is inspired by a world made flat by the Internet, the new commercial ventures made possible by globalisation and the cultural crossovers that have opened new horizons. According to Giovannoni, the Far East has the potential to refresh the West’s cultural vision after the end of minimalism.
