Kirsten Goss's latest collection, The Diamond Condition, plays with the notion of diamonds being a "serious" stone.
This collection from the dynamic jewellery brand, which is designed in London and crafted in South Africa, takes a slightly ironic and irreverent approach to its application of the precious stone.
Reminiscent of gold costume jewellery of the 80s, The Diamond Condition consists of three lines, called #BANG, #LUCKY and #STRIP that include earrings, necklaces and rings.
"These are diamonds for everyone with a predilection for the pretty, cheeky and sparkly," says Goss.
While the design aesthetics might be tongue-in-cheek, the jeweller takes quality seriously: "Standards of craftsmanship are rooted in integrity, and each and every piece of our jewellery is entirely handcrafted, with the most seemingly insignificant aspects of every piece meticulously laboured over until perfect."
All pieces are made with top grade white diamonds and a variety of 18 carat golds.
