Tom Price’s PP Tree installation at Industry Gallery in Washington DC pays homage to the city’s iconic cherry trees.
The PP Tree is made exclusively from polypropylene pipe and nylon cable ties. Price chose to use industrially manufactured, readily available materials with longevity for the construction of this installation to highlight the stark contrast it forms with the ephemeral, natural beauty of real cherry trees.
