At Paris Fashion Week for Spring 2026, Coperni unveiled the quietly radical C+ Carewear, a capsule collection that blurs the line between skincare, biotech and fashion. The C+ “carewear” series developed in collaboration with Swiss textile-biotech firm HeiQ, which features items infused with probiotics and prebiotics embedded in a slow-release biobased matrix. The fabric is activated by body heat and movement, to support the skins microbiome balance and barrier health as it’s worn. The collection includes everyday pieces such as leggings, bodysuits and tops all blending minimalist design with skincare science. Coperni describes the concept as “wearing your skincare”, garments designed not just to clothe, but to care.
C+ makes compelling case of systems thinking in fashion by merging material innovation, functional aesthetics, and wellbeing into garments. The collection adheres to Coperni’s clean, body-conscious aesthetic, while the embedded biotech adds a hidden but meaningful layer of value. The regenerative benefits are claimed to last through 40 washes, and the textiles retain breathability, comfort and colour. C+ reframes clothing as more than surface and style; it imagines fashion as a living system of care, where design can quietly enhance how we move and feel.
