The first major retrospective of the Bouroullec Brothers, Ronan and Erwan, is taking place at the Centre Pompidou-Metz in Paris until 30 July 2012.
Bivouac presents work from the past 15 years in a 1 500 square metre exhibition space. The brothers are showcasing pieces they did for, among others, Vitra, Alessi, Established & Sons and Cappellini.
From homeware to installation pieces, the exhibition includes the Piani tray/lamp for Flos and the Steelwood collection for Magis.
Bivouac also looks at some of the research projects the brothers undertook, like the Clouds project for Kvadrat.
Visitors to the exhibition are invited to wander around the space, moving between prototypes and finished objects, mass-produced items and hand-crafted specialities.
