Birthday wishes for Madiba

Love, faith, forgiveness, freedom and courage are some of the words Brand inc used to pay tribute to Madiba on his birthday.

Sometimes it is a struggle to find the right words. Especially the right words to say happy birthday to somebody like Nelson Mandela, on his 93rd birthday.

Creative director Judd Quy of specialist design and advertising agency Brand inc thus created something a little less ordinary to convey heartfelt birthday wishes to Madiba.

Quy used a variety of descriptive and emotive words associated with Madiba, such as freedom, father, passion, president and humble, to create a silhouette of Madiba’s face.

It is meant as a fun project in honour of Madiba’s birthday.
